Illuminating panels on a pop up stand is not a new idea, in fact many companies supply pop up stands with the end panels printed onto backlit film which can be illuminated internally with strip-lights. The Luminex system, however uses solid end-caps in an attractive brushed aluminum finish that are actually router-cut and infilled with coloured acrylic to create a logo as shown in this image.
